After that, we proceed to A’ Famosa, built by the Portuguese in 1511 as a fortress, and is now a hallmark of Malacca. Next stop at St. Francis Xavier’s Statue and oldest Chinese Temple in the country, named Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, which was built in 1646.
